Chili

Ingredients
- 2 16 oz cans Black Beans
- 1 28 oz can Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 28 oz can Diced Tomatoes
- 1 pack of ground meat {beef, bison, turkey}
- 1 large red pepper (diced)
- 1 large sweet onion (diced)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- olive oil
Equipment
- 1 large pot
- 1 mixing spoon
- 1 set of measuring spoons
- 1 knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 can opener
- 1 hand mitt (use when stirring chili)
Directions
- Place pot on stove
- Add some olive oil to the bottom of the pot
- Set heat to medium
- Dump meat into the pot
- Dump died onion into the pot
- Cook meat in pot until fully cooked
- Dump beans, tomatoes, and pepper, into the pot
- Stir well, make sure everything gets stirred together
- Wait until the mix is bubbling
- Dump cumin, chili powder, cyan pepper and salt into the pot
- Stir in spices thoroughly
- Cook for 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes (make sure nothing is sticking to the bottom of the pot)
- Set heat on high to boil off excess water until chili reaches desired thickness
